Relative Race is a 10-day journey across America where 4 teams discover biological family and compete for the chance to win $50,000. If you are selected to be on the show, our expert genealogists use your DNA to find your relatives. Once on the show, you will compete in daily challenges, travel to new cities, and knock on a new door each day. At each doorstep is a new family member waiting to meet you.
Now accepting applications for 2025.
Compensation:
- $1000 / day per team each day continued in the race.
- 1st place team will win the $50,000 prize.
CASTING APPLICATION
Please ensure that you have read the eligibility requirements before providing your contact information.
- Must be between the ages of 19-55.
- Teams must consist of individuals with some type of family relationship (for example: spouses, siblings, parent/child, cousins).
- Must be willing to submit to a DNA screening test and family tree research for genealogy eligibility.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and carry medical and auto insurance.
- Must be willing to dedicate 2 consecutive weeks for filming during the month of April 2025 (exact dates TBD). Must also be available for several “re-shoots” as needed to complete production and marketing prior to the series premiere.
- 3rd Generation US citizens preferred.
